Peanut Butter Cups.

My lovely cousin is getting married in a few weeks time.
Luckily for me, she is as mad about Peanut Butter as I am.

As I am doing her a dessert table, and she has requested some yummy Peanut Butter cups.
I am also making her Wedding cake and cupcakes. She wants a whole tier of the cake to be peanut butter flavour, this girl has taste I tell you.

So today I thought I would share my recipe for home made Peanut butter cups.
This recipe was featured on the fabulous Rock N Roll Bride, thanks Kat for being a huge star.

So here it is, enjoy.

What you need.

♥ Cup Measures
♥ Moulds or mini baking cases
♥ Couple of bowls
♥ Spoon
♥ Microwave

Ingredients:

♥ 1 Cup of Peanut Butter. smooth or crunchy depending on your personal taste
♥ 1/2 cup Icing sugar
♥ 1 Teaspoon of Salt
♥ 400 grams of chocolate. Milk, Dark or White, again your preference. i use a mixture of White and milk, its yummy.
♥ sprinkles/decorations

Step 1.  Measure out all your ingredients, sampling some chocolate if you desire.
Step 2. In a bowl mix 1/2 a cup of peanut butter with the icing sugar and salt until well combined.

Step 3: In the other bowl, place your white chocolate anremaining peanut butter. Then microwave until melted. Keep checking every 30 seconds or so as you do not want it to burn.
Step 4: Add the milk chocolate, stir and microwave again, until all chocolate has melted.

Step 5: Take your moulds/mini cupcake cases and fill the bottoms with a covering of your mixture. Set to one side

Step 6: Using a teaspoon measure, scoop up a ball of your peanut butter cup filling. Roll this into a ball and drop into the chocolate mixture, aiming for the centre. If you can refrain from eating the mixture at this point you are doing much better than I am.

Step 7: Spoon over more of your Chocolate mixture, until your little peanut butter centres are smothered in deliciousness.

Step 8: (Optional) If you want to glam up your cups, now is the time. Whilst the chocolate is still wet on the top, sprinkle, shake and decorate your cups to your hearts desire.

Step 9: Pop into the fridge until set. 30-60 minutes.
Step 10: Gobble all peanut butter cups up, and start again……no sorry don’t do that. Do, wrap in individual clear bags tied with ribbon or twine to match your theme.

Yummy Yummy Peanut butter cups at a fraction of the price.
